Un grupo de 22 alumn@s irlandeses nos visitó el pasado mes de octubre. Ahora nos toca a nosotros viajar a Irlanda y pasar una semana allí.
Durante esa semana (10-17 marzo) visitaremos la casa victoriana Muckross House y la bonita cascada de Torc en Killarney National Park.
También conoceremos Blarney Castle y Cork City Gaol (Antigua prisión de Cork).
Recibiremos clases de historia irlandesa en Midleton College y tomaremos un almuerzo irlandés tradicional en la cantina.
Realizaremos una divertida gincana por las calles de Midleton y así conoceremos la ciudad.
Podremos practicar y mejorar nuestro inglés. Además tendremos la oportunidad de conocer personas de otro país y una cultura diferente.
Esperamos que todos disfrutemos la semana y la aprovechemos al máximo.

ITINERARY
Tuesday 10th March 2015
Arrival to Midleton College approximately 3pm. Welcome ceremony in College
Assembly Hall. Students depart with their partners and families after ceremony.
Wednesday 11th March.
Attend school with partners. The Spanish students will meet with their teachers until
9.30am. Spanish students will attend class in the morning and then have a traditional
Irish lunch in Midleton College. Treasure hunt around the town of Midleton. Students will be free to go with their partners after
lunch.
Thursday 12th March.
Assembly at 8.40am. Spanish students will depart at 9am for a trip to Blarney Castle,
Cork City Gaol and Cork City. (Comfortable walking shoes needed!) Return to Midleton
College at 3.45pm. Students will go home with their partners.
Friday 13th March.
Assembly at 8.40am. Both Irish and Spanish students will depart at 9am for a trip to
Killarney, where we will visit Muckross House, Torc Waterfall and go shopping in
Killarney. Please ensure students wear comfortable walking shoes and bring raingear!
Return to Midleton 5pm approximately.
Saturday 14th, Sunday 15th and Monday 16th March
Long weekend with families.
Tuesday 17th March
Early departure from Midleton College (meet at 4.30am) to Cork Airport and home!
